Civio Datalytics combines election consulting with a purpose-built data platform. It ingests county voter files, early-voting records, and municipal GIS data; normalizes and reconciles them into a unified dataset; and delivers targeting lists, neighborhood assignments, candidate dashboards, and election-night reporting.

The structural gap.
Generic campaign software is designed for large-scale national campaigns with substantial budgets and staff. Local civic races — city council, school board, municipal positions — operate with small teams, limited resources, and highly localized data. Off-the-shelf tools do not reconcile inconsistent county voter files, do not integrate real-time early-voting records, and do not provide the neighborhood-level geographic intelligence that determines where limited volunteer time is best spent.
Civio Datalytics is an active consulting practice serving civic campaigns in Collin and Denton Counties, Texas. The underlying data platform is operational and has supported multiple successful local candidates. The system is continuously refined with each election cycle, and the Civio Walker mobile field application is in active development to extend the platform's reach into real-time field operations.

Civio Datalytics emerged directly from years of hands-on election work — not from a speculative software concept. The platform was built around problems already demonstrated in practice, which means its capabilities reflect actual campaign needs rather than assumed ones. As part of the MackJoy portfolio, Civio benefits from shared infrastructure, data engineering patterns, and the Civio Walker field application being developed in parallel.

How it is built.
The platform is built on a Python-based ETL pipeline that ingests county voter files, early-voting records, and municipal GIS data. Playwright automation retrieves and processes early-voting files as they are published. A self-hosted Metabase environment delivers candidate-specific dashboards. The system runs on the Civio Devs server infrastructure, which provides PostgreSQL with PostGIS, containerized services, encrypted backups, and layered monitoring.
